Our Eco Council meet once a month to discuss ways to reduce, reuse, recycle and to protect our environment. They work to achieve our eco action plan and raise awareness of green issues within school. They also work closely with the Friends of South Hill Wood and Kingswood Glen to further develop the green spaces near to our school.
Each class elect two eco councillors who represent their classmates by collecting their ideas to share with the other eco councillors at the monthly meetings. Eco councillors stay in place for half a year.
The minutes of the meetings are typed and circulated to each class so that all the children are involved in eco activities at school.
